The Board

For the establishment phase of the SWE-RAYS network, a steering committee was appointed  at the first national workshop in August 2012. In December the same year this steering committee officially formed the association, accepted the bylaws, and was elected as the first board of the association. Now, the board is elected for two years at an annual meeting. Any member can nominate themselves or a colleague.

Tabassom Mohajer Shojai (Chairman)

Department of immunology, genetics and pathology, Uppsala University.

PhD student in medical radiation science, exploring the potential combination radioimmunotherapies (RIT) and other cancer therapies such as radiosensitizer and immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Saloni Chopra (Vice Chairman)

Department of immunology, genetics and pathology, Uppsala University.

Anja Schroff (Secretary)

Department of Medical Radiation Sciences, Institute of Clinical Sciences, University of Gothenburg.

PhD student in radiobiology investigating the long-term effects of low-dose exposure in connection with epigenetic modifications.

Frida Westerbergh (Treasurer)

Department of Medical Radiation Sciences, Institute of Clinical Sciences, University of Gothenburg.

PhD student in nuclear medicine, specializing in SPECT imaging and the development of techniques that could improve diagnosis and therapeutic outcomes in radionuclide therapy of metastatic cancer.

Jonathan Sundström (Webmaster)

Department of Medical Radiation Sciences, Institute of Clinical Sciences, University of Gothenburg.

PhD student in environmental radioactivity. Researching on naturally occurring radioactive elements (NORM) and how the abundance of these elements affects the exposure of the public. 

Nishte Rassol (Board member)

Belikse Ramljak (Board member)
